The Stand Mixer comes with 10 speeds which makes it really easy for selecting the right speed for the particular item. The mixing action is quite awesome because when the beater is moving clockwise, the shaft moves anti clockwise, enabling the beater to move 67 points. This is why the beater can mix everything in the bowl evenly without leaving any humps, bumps or lumps. Now you don’t have to hassle about the speed to select to whisk up your eggs or to knead up your dough for your bread. But Kitchen Aid K45SS Classic stand mixer does not have a pouring shield, so you have to be careful while mixing the stuff. It’s advisable that you do the first few mixing strokes manually before turning the mixer on.
The package includes a 4 and a ½ quart mixing bowl made out of stainless steel which is quite spacious and can hold around 8 cups of flour at a time and a recipe booklet to help you with cooking different cuisines. But the bowl doesn’t have a handle, so replacing it from the mixer and pouring out the contents can be a bit difficult. Aside from that this mixer is very easy to clean. The white body can be cleaned with a damp cloth. All other parts are dishwasher safe.
